At work
Before joining Eames Laurie in January 2022, I had little knowledge of the financial industry. However, I was approached by Paul and having worked in my local pub as a commis chef for 7 years, I needed a new challenge. I kindly accepted Paul's offer and started to build my understanding of my new role and responsibilities. In my role, I support our financial advisers with several tasks, enabling them to help their clients achieve their goals.
Joining this role has allowed me to vastly improve my knowledge in all areas of the business world, as well as this sector. Taking on a new challenge has truly allowed me to build myself as a person.
Outside of work
I love going on road trips, with my family, to Italy – seeing the amazing views of numerous countries on our drive. I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, going to theme parks and music festivals and binge-watching all things Disney or Harry Potter. I also enjoy cooking, trying out new recipes, and relaxing at sunny beaches!
What is the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
Don't underestimate your own abilities.
